Efeito da alta irradiância na contração de resinas bulk-fill
4m 18s
This article investigates polymerization shrinkage vectors in different types of composite resins under high-intensity light and reduced curing times. Using micro-CT tomography, the study analyzed particle displacement in fluid and regular resins, highlighting differences in vector magnitude and direction. Results showed that fluid resins exhibit lower displacement, suggesting reduced internal gap formation and greater clinical longevity. Regular materials, due to higher elasticity, displayed more significant vectors, particularly on the surface. The research concludes that fluid resins, combined with short polymerization times, offer enhanced safety against marginal failures and better restoration durability.
