This study analyzes the reliability and failure modes of dental implants made of grade 2 titanium (commercially pure) and grade 5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V). Single-unit crowns were tested under progressive loading conditions to assess strength and survival rates. The results indicate that grade 5 titanium implants exhibit higher reliability and resistance compared to grade 2 titanium implants.
