Mechanical Evaluation of Four Narrow-Diameter Implant Systems
Season 1, Episode 13
•
4m 37s
This study evaluated the survival probability and failure modes of four narrow-diameter implant systems under accelerated fatigue testing. The results showed different survival rates depending on the implant-abutment connection type, especially under 200 N loads. The study provides key insights for selecting implant systems in regions with limited prosthetic space.

Mechanical Evaluation of Two Grades o...
This study analyzes the reliability and failure modes of dental implants made of grade 2 titanium (commercially pure) and grade 5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V). Single-unit crowns were tested under progressive loading conditions to assess strength and survival rates. The results indicate that grade ...

Assessment of cuspal deflection and v...
This study examined cuspal deflection and volumetric shrinkage of different bulk-fill resins using micro-CT. Results showed that high-viscosity composites exhibit greater cuspal deflection, while higher filler loading reduces volumetric shrinkage. The research highlights the importance of materia...
