µCT evaluation of cement film thickness in veneers & crowns with materials
5m 18s
This study evaluates cement film thickness in veneers and crowns using modern materials, such as acrylic resins, bisacrylic resins, milled materials, and 3D-printed resins. Conducted with microcomputed tomography, the research reveals significant differences in cement film adaptation, highlighting precision limitations in 3D-printed resins. Acrylic and bisacrylic materials demonstrate better adaptation but exhibit porosities that may affect restoration longevity. The analysis explores technological constraints, printing parameters, and clinical implications, emphasizing the need for further studies to enhance precision and durability in dental restorations.
